Keep your windows rolled up for at least two to four days to allow the adhesive to cure properly.
Avoid cleaning your windows for a couple of days. When you do clean them, use a soft, non-abrasive cloth or paper towel and a cleaner without ammonia. A mix of soap and water or vinegar and water is recommended. Remember, ammonia can damage the tint.
Be cautious of potential scratches. While tinted film is durable and often comes with a scratch-resistant coating, it's not scratch-proof. Be mindful when loading items with sharp edges, and be aware of seatbelt buckles which can accidentally ding and tear the tint.
